Anna, Piano Tutor
By the time she was fourteen, Anna had achieved Grade 8 Piano and Grade 5 Music Theory. More recently, she has studied music theory and composition in greater depth through Music A Level, in which she achieved a grade A. She has extensive experience performing in ensembles, and accompanying solo musicians and choirs. She has taken part in many competitions, winning a number of prizes and often receiving outstanding adjudications.
Anna has been performing solo piano since she was nine, and loves the thrill of sharing music with others. She is enthusiastic about working on stagecraft to bring out self confidence in each pupil.
Anna believes in introducing all aspects of music within her lessons, including concepts about music theory and composition, to provide a solid foundation for her pupils to build upon and use throughout their musical journey. Having trained in the Leschetizky piano method, which promotes good posture and well being, she will incorporate fun and accessible elements of this in her teaching.
Anna is a well-rounded creative, who is passionate about art and drama, and will bring these exciting aspects into her lessons.
When she’s not playing the piano, Anna loves singing and is teaching herself the guitar.
