Alena, Vocal Coach and Songwriting Tutor
Alena is an industry vocal coach specialising in contemporary styles and is a resident coach on The Voice Kids UK. She has coached British RnB singer Ella Mai, Billboard recording artist IAGO and up-and-coming UK MC, Queen Millz.
As a singer-songwriter Alena has had tracks played on BBC 1Xtra and Mi-Soul, featured on Bargrooves Disco, collaborated with Detroit multi-instrumentalist and producer Amp Fiddler, as well as British-French duo Qwestlife, with two of her co-written tracks released on Defected Records (Glitterbox). She was also Chaka Khan’s UK support act and released her debut solo EP ‘The End’ in 2020.
As a session singer and live performer, she’s worked on TV shows First Dates, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and Celebrity Mr & Mrs. Her voice has also featured on ads for Sprite, T K Maxx and BT and she was the voice of European commercial radio station ‘You FM’ for almost ten years.
Alena is based in London and principally offers tuition online.
