Rebecca, Academic Tutor

Rebecca is a qualified primary school teacher with experience in both Key Stages One and Two and has strong knowledge of the expectations for each year group. Having taught in Year 6 for a number of years, she also has experience helping pupils make the transition from primary to secondary school and prepare for their SATs papers.

Rebecca has daily experience of working with children with additional needs and prior to teaching, worked 1-1 supporting children with autism. She is passionate about helping children reach their full potential and develop their confidence.

Rebecca is currently an English lead and a writing moderator for East Sussex. Having completed her degree in English before going on to study a PGCE, she is keen to support any child develop their confidence in reading and writing and is knowledgeable in the teaching of phonics.

Outside of the classroom, Rebecca likes reading, long walks in the countryside and baking. She also likes spending time with her friends and family.
