James, Guitar, Songwriting and Production Tutor
James is a seasoned musician, having been playing guitar for over 20 years. Graduating from the University of Brighton in 2011 with a BA in Music Performance, he spent the next few years performing and teaching sporadically, before choosing to teach full time in 2017. As well as his music skills, James also has experience as a teaching assistant in primary schools.
In his spare time James loves to write and record original music as well as perform with amateur dramatic and musical theatre societies.
James has a friendly, informal style focusing on the material his pupils like to play, and giving them the skills, knowledge and confidence to learn and improve at their own pace.
Primarily a rock and blues player James also has a background in classical training and versatility in a number of styles. James teaches both online and face-to-face lessons in Uckfield and surrounding area of East Sussex.
