Isabel, Spanish Tutor
Isabel is a native, experienced Spanish tutor based in West Sussex. She has been a Spanish tutor since 2003 and currently tutors over 30 students weekly ranging from primary school to degree level, as well as a number of adults learning conversational or holiday Spanish. The lessons are 1-2-1 and adapted to each students' needs and abilities. The lessons are fun and very varied as she uses many different sources and techniques to help with all aspects of learning the language. There is a chance to practise speaking, listening and vocabulary in each lesson as well as grammar, writing and exam technique for older students.
Isabel was born in Barcelona and grew up in Mallorca from the age of 4. At 18 she moved to England to learn English and ended up studying for a BSc (Hons) in Political Science with German. She found her true passion when she started teaching English and Spanish in Malaga, in Southern Spain, where she ran a successful translation and expat support company called Purple Translations as well as a homework club to support the children of expats attending Spanish school.
Isabel returned to the UK and settled in Haywards Heath. She is married with two children and two dogs.
